Albertsons Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. They are seriously one of my favorite treats during the fall season. So when I saw these already made in Albertsons, I had to try them! One bite was enough to tell me that these were nothing like the cookies I could make. They had too much spice and not enough pumpkin or chocolate. I also found out that if you open these, you better eat them all quickly, otherwise these cookies get hard as rock which makes them even worse.

You can grab these at Albertsons or just avoid them altogether and make your own! I suggest the latter.

Rita’s Pumpkin Pie Cream Ice

Honestly, I did not want to try this at all. I saw it at the fair and thought it would be awful so I wasn’t going to spend money on it. Luckily, they gave out samples and I am extremely grateful that they did as this ice was HORRIBLE. Just like I thought it would be. Way too much spice and the texture just does not go well with pumpkin. I didn’t even want to finish the sample honestly and neither did anyone else in my family. It was just too much and I have decided to never again ask for pumpkin pie Italian ice.

You can try this at Rita’s if you want but I will tell you right now that you will regret it and who really wants to live with those?

Kellog’s Pumpkin Spice Crunch

The first thing I will say about this cereal is to be careful when you pour your milk into it. The small flakes make the liquid bounce right off and it gets all over the place. After you figure out how to not make a mess, you can try a bite of this overly pumpkin cereal. I wasn’t expecting much flavor when I first poured a bowl of this, but I was surprised to find that this had a little too much spice in it. The flakes are covered in a pumpkin flavor that isn’t too pleasing and a bit overpowering. The good thing about this cereal though is the tiny little crunch balls in it. They are very delicious but not pumpkin flavored.

You can grab a box of this at most grocery stores. I got mine at Target. I would suggest you mix this cereal with the pumpkin spice mini-wheats that I reviewed before. They help balance out the spice flavor in this. Or you could just avoid this cereal and try something a little more enjoyable.

Peet’s Coffee Chocolate Pumpkin Bread

I also wait all year to get me some pumpkin bread. I saw this and grabbed a slice to try later on. When I took a bite, I was expecting at least a little bit of pumpkin flavor but was met with absolutely nothing. This bread had no flavor at all! I took another bite thinking maybe it just needed another chance, but it was still very bland and disappointing.

I say to skip this one. You can make your own pumpkin bread and it tastes way better than this. Plus, you get a whole loaf to yourself if you do that! If you want to try this, you can grab a slice from Peet’s Coffee.

Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino

I was so dang excited that I found this in a Walgreens while out and about. I love trying new drinks and couldn’t wait to get my hands on this! However, when I did get to taste this, I was soooooo disappointed. I should have taken my friend’s warning. She said I wasn’t going to like this drink and she was right! This pumpkin spice frappuccino tastes like straight up dirt. It’s so gross and disgusting that I didn’t even take more than a sip. It had NO pumpkin flavor. It literally just tasted like dirt water(kind of like their premade iced pumpkin spice latte that I reviewed). Not only did it taste bad, it’s loaded with 300 calories that make you feel guilty for even looking at the thing. It is also way overpriced for how much you get. I rather drink just straight black coffee than this crap.

I say skip this and go grab one of my favorite pumpkin coffees rather than this garbage. You can find this at most grocery stores or Walgreens if you want to dare and try it.

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Items

As a whole, Dunkin’ Donuts really just fell through. This should be the breakfast of pumpkin champions, but it’s really just all disappointing even though it’s cheap. I don’t plan to ever order any of this stuff ever again which is pretty sad considering I usually like their coffee at least. I say to just skip this place altogether and go try some of my favorites. You’ll be much happier with your choices if you do so!

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Muffin

As you can see, this muffin doesn’t look much different than the pumpkin donut I got from Dunkin’ Donuts. And guess what? It tasted pretty much the same! I’m not sure what the hell they were trying to do with the frosting here as it’s literally a single swirl of some kind of cream cheese. It wasn’t very good so I’m glad there wasn’t a lot. This whole muffin altogether was a disappointment. Barely tasted like pumpkin and it was dry. I honestly only ate the top of the muffin and gave the rest to a coworker because I was over eating Dunkin’s crappy pumpkin things.

You can get this at Dunkin’ Donuts but I just highly suggest that you don’t.

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Donut

Well of course when I saw that Dunkin’ Donuts had a pumpkin donut, I had to try it! And of course, I was disappointed. This donut is as good as it looks..which isn’t very good at all if you ask me. It tasted like a spice cake that was lathered in a cream cheese frosting. It was like they didn’t even try to make this taste really like pumpkin or good at all. I should have known just by looking at the treat that it wasn’t going to be good because as you can see, it looks exactly what it taste like; a donut covered in frosting.

You can pick this up at Dunkin’ Donuts but I highly suggest you don’t even though the cheap price will tempt you. Avoid it and just buy a pack of pumpkin donut hoes at your local grocery store. They are 100 times better and you get more bang for your buck! Check out Entenmann’s Pop’ems donut holes. They tare way better than this disaster!

Dunkin’ Donuts Pumpkin Swirl Latte

I was super looking forward to trying this pumpkin swirl latte from Dunkin’ Donuts because it had been highly rated on another blog I had read. I was thoroughly disappointed when I actually took a sip of the latte though. It didn’t taste like pumpkin really, more like an earthy coffee. I’m not sure how the heck it got highly rated when it wasn’t very good and it tasted watered down(not sure if that was because I got it iced). It was not even worth the drive down to get it.

I would say skip this latte and get one that tastes much better somewhere else. The only good thing about this drink was that it was cheap! So if you want a cheap, not so great, pumpkin spice latte, head to Dunkin’ Donuts. If not, please AVOID.
