Flower Power Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bar

Ironic that I discovered this after I went to the dentist. This is a small bakery in San Diego that usually has little to offer except for really expensive cakes that taste just so so. I found that they offered little treats like this inside for a reasonable price so I decided to spring for this treat. Happy I did because it was yummmmmy! Super moist and pumpkiny. Had just the right amount of chocolate as well. I would definitely get this again. Like I said, I’m not a huge fan of this place, but they definitely did this right!

If you would like to discover this yummy treat then you can find it in El Cajon at the Flower Power bakery. You won’t regret it!! …just don’t order a 100+ cake, please. That you will regret.

Rad Coffee’s Blended Pumpkin Coffee

This. Is. My. Most. Favorite. Coffee. Place. Of. All. Time. I saw this shop through Facebook when my friend shared an article about their unique coffees. We then decided to make a trip to Upland, CA just so we could try it. Let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH EVERY DAMN MILE. I did some research before heading up there and found out they had fall drinks. They had a couple different pumpkin options like a latte and coffee, but I decided to go with the blended pumpkin and I AM SO HAPPY I DID.

Seriously, this is the best pumpkin drink I have ever had. It’s sweet, has a bit of coffee, and the pumpkin flavor is just right. If you think I’m being a little over the top about this, I will let you know that I went to this place THREE times just because I loved the drink so much(and I was in the area..kind of). Every single time, I ordered the blended pumpkin. My dad even loved it and he hates coffee.

If you are in Upland or driving through the area, stop by and try this place! It’s in a really cute location and the coffee drinks are fun and delicious! I wish we had one in San Diego. I’d be there every damn weekend. Seriously, go try this place!

Mariposa Pumpkin Ice Cream

This booth was just two down from Rita’s and I am thankful I decided to sample and get a cup of this! I tried a little spoonful before ordering a scoop and was very happy with my calorie decision. It was sweet and didn’t have a ton a cinnamon(like most pumpkin things like to add). Very creamy and enjoyable! I would have loved to get this in some kind of sundae. It would have been great with some fudge as well or pie crumbs.

You can get this from Mariposa which I am honestly not sure where you can find this place at. I know it’s a county up in Northern California. I was able to try this at a fair so hopefully you find a place that has this near you!

Sheldon’s Pumpkin Loaf

This little place just opened up in La Mesa so I wasn’t really expecting them to have anything pumpkin. Lucky for me, I was wrong! Even though they had no coffee(what kind of breakfast place has no pumpkin coffee??), they did have a pumpkin loaf! I bought a slice and brought it home. I found it was very similar to Korky’s, but not as good. Still very enjoyable. It had a great balance of nuts and pumpkin goodness. You couldn’t ask for much more than that.

You can find this in downtown La Mesa and get yourself some before they get rid of it completely. They might even have some pumpkin coffee by now.

Rita’s Pumpkin Pie Cream Ice

Honestly, I did not want to try this at all. I saw it at the fair and thought it would be awful so I wasn’t going to spend money on it. Luckily, they gave out samples and I am extremely grateful that they did as this ice was HORRIBLE. Just like I thought it would be. Way too much spice and the texture just does not go well with pumpkin. I didn’t even want to finish the sample honestly and neither did anyone else in my family. It was just too much and I have decided to never again ask for pumpkin pie Italian ice.

You can try this at Rita’s if you want but I will tell you right now that you will regret it and who really wants to live with those?

Birch Benders Pumpkin Spice Pancakes

I’m usually not one that likes to cook much if I don’t have to, especially not in the morning, but I will make an exception if the end result is a pumpkin pancake! I got this mix and decided that I would make some pumpkin spice pancakes.

At first I tried it without chocolate chips and found they were delicious! It’s rare to find a mix that is good on its own. I then decided I was going to throw some chocolate chips in there to make these even more awesome and wala! it did. Just the right amount of pumpkin and spice to kick off your morning. They were delicious both ways and I would definitely suggest you grab a bag of this so you can make these all year round.

I found this mix at Target which means that you can probably get it half off in a couple of days here. I know I’ll be stocking up on it!

Korky’s Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

When I saw that this little place had pumpkin bread, I had to ask if they also carried some kind of pumpkin coffee. The girl behind the counter seemed very eager to make me an iced pumpkin spice latte(I’m assuming it was one of the first ones she has made). It took a bit, but it was well worth the wait! This latte had the right amount of pumpkin and coffee. It was also super refreshing on the somewhat hot day.

I would definitely order this again along with their pumpkin bread. Both were spot on for the season and not even that expensive! If you would like to get your own, please head to Old Town and relax at Korky’s. You won’t regret it!

Korky’s Pumpkin Bread

I love pumpkin bread as I have said many times on this blog. While running around for work, I found this little place in Old Town. Going inside, I found some bread that needed to be tried! My supervisor also felt the same way as she ate half of it before I could even take a picture of it. One bit of this treat and I was happy. It had the right amount of pumpkin as well as a good number of nuts. It was light and fluffy which made it seem like it was very fresh!

I would definitely buy a whole loaf of this if I could. If you’re in the area, stop by and grab a piece or two. Korky’s has a nice area where you can just relax and enjoy the flavors of the season.

Kellog’s Pumpkin Spice Crunch

The first thing I will say about this cereal is to be careful when you pour your milk into it. The small flakes make the liquid bounce right off and it gets all over the place. After you figure out how to not make a mess, you can try a bite of this overly pumpkin cereal. I wasn’t expecting much flavor when I first poured a bowl of this, but I was surprised to find that this had a little too much spice in it. The flakes are covered in a pumpkin flavor that isn’t too pleasing and a bit overpowering. The good thing about this cereal though is the tiny little crunch balls in it. They are very delicious but not pumpkin flavored.

You can grab a box of this at most grocery stores. I got mine at Target. I would suggest you mix this cereal with the pumpkin spice mini-wheats that I reviewed before. They help balance out the spice flavor in this. Or you could just avoid this cereal and try something a little more enjoyable.

Ghirardelli Pumpkin Spice Caramel Squares

I. Have. Been. Waiting. For. These. For. Years. This isn’t the first time that Ghirardelli decided to make pumpkin spiced flavored squares! They had these bad boys a couple of years back and I haven’t seen them again until this year! You can probably already tell, but YES I LOVE THESE. They are absolutely delicious. They have just the right amount of pumpkin caramel in them and they are soooo smooth. I could honestly eat the whole bag and so could my friend. They are bite size and easy to enjoy. That also makes them dangerous in the sense that they are addictive and make you feel less guilty for eating more than one since they aren’t that big.

You can find these at Target and any Ghirardelli store you come across. Please do yourself a favor and grab one or ten of these delicious treats!
